Buyer may have option to pick siding color, stone, interior doors, garage doors, countertops and more, from what builder has available at time of foundation. Frequently Asked Questions

What types of finishes can I change?
You have a choice of flooring (what the builder has in stock at the time). In addition, you may have the choice of cabinets and in some cases you may have a choice of the siding and brick colors, countertops, small electrical upgrades, etc. Whereas for the paint colors, lighting fixtures, trim, etc you can not change these items.

Additionally, we want to change around the floor plan to make a larger master bathroom. Can we do that?
The floor plan cannot be changed. Please keep in mind these are spec homes. Therefore, many changes aren’t able to be made. In some instances you may be able to swap out a tub/shower combo for a shower stall and vice versa.

When can we meet with the builder to discuss finishes?
The builder will not meet with you to discuss finishes. As the listing representative for Newark Home Builders we are here to answer all of your questions. Additionally, please keep in mind this is a spec home and the buyer of these homes needs to envision the home being complete.

Why is the brick on my house different than what is shown on the elevation plan for that model?
Please keep in mind the photos shown on this page and other related pages for floor plans, exterior photos/elevations and interior photos are of similar models. Additionally, the finished product may not be a 100% exact match to the information that is provided on this page.

Can we change the driveway from blacktop to concrete?
No, the driveway is blacktop only. On the other hand, some cases you may have the option to have the builder not put the driveway in for a reduced price and then you could do concrete drive after closing.

Can we change the patio to a larger patio or to a deck?
No, patio is 12×12 and cannot be made any larger nor can the builder install a deck.
